This show was absolutely one for the books. A Day to Remember delivered nonstop fun from start to finish, and it was the perfect chance to revisit my emo-era roots. Their stage presence was insane—full of energy, crowd engagement, and yes… even SpongeBob and friends couldn’t resist being there for ADTR! The Wonder Years opened the night, and even though I’d never listened to them before, they completely surprised me. Their energy was contagious and they were an awesome start to the show—definitely worth adding to your playlist. Next up: Yellowcard. If you know, you know. They brought that pure 2004 pop-punk nostalgia and did not disappoint. After being away for over a decade, seeing them perform together again was honestly surreal. When they played Ocean Avenue, every elder emo in the crowd felt that spark—pure magic. They even played one of their new hits Yellowcard’s setlist:
Then… it was time for A Day to Remember. The anticipation alone had the whole venue buzzing. Everyone sang along to the tracks playing before they hit the stage, and once they finally came out, the energy exploded. The moment The Downfall of Us All kicked in, not a single person stayed seated. ADTR delivered fun, chaos, and nostalgia in the best way possible—uniting every emo kid (past and present) in the room.
