Chicago was in for a treat on Tuesday night as Caleb Shomo and Beartooth brought their signature blend of heavy riffs, emotional intensity, and nonstop energy to the Allstate Arena on March 4, delivering a performance that proved why the band continues to grow and dominate the modern rock and metalcore scene. Frontman Caleb Shomo commanded the stage from the moment the band launched into their set, unleashing powerful vocals that shifted seamlessly between aggressive screams and soaring melodies. The Chicago crowd took it all in, turning the arena into a wall of singalongs. I was watching the faces in the crowd during the set and saw absolute joy and happiness with some tears scattered throughout. Fan-favorite tracks like “In Between,” “Disease,” and “Riptide” ignited the raucous crowd , with the masses shouting every lyric back to the stage. The band’s recent track “Free,” which has taken a hit on social media by many haters fit perfectly alongside their established hits, showcasing how Beartooth continues to evolve while keeping the raw emotional core that fans connect with. Musically, the band sounded massive in the arena setting. Crushing guitars, thunderous drums, and high-energy pacing kept the momentum going throughout the entire set. The lighting and stage production added to the intensity, creating a powerful atmosphere without overshadowing the band’s performance. By the end of the night, Beartooth had transformed the Allstate Arena into a roaring crowd of fans feeding off the band’s relentless energy. For all the recent hateful words and comments in the bands social media, Caleb and the band stood tall and took in the love from Chicago rock fans, it wasn’t just another concert it was a reminder that Beartooth remains one of the most electrifying and evolving live acts in modern rock.
