With a voice mixed of one part gravel (the nice raspy rock kind), and two parts blues and soul; Larry Browning fronts his band of warriors. Whether it’s Draft Day in Greenwood, Indiana or Whit’s Inn in New Whiteland, Indiana Larry brings his troupe of talented musicians with him. On guitar and occasionally even the fiddle you’ll find Dave Campbell. Dave can pluck that fiddle as easily as he can strum his guitar. When he opens his mouth to take over vocals, you hear generations of country that have come before him. Kyle Rutan plays guitar towards the front of the stage, and with his head bowed you see outlaw country but as he starts playing you hear the last thirty years of modern and classic rock. To the left of Larry, a rumbling comes. It’s George Harper carrying the backbeat and the rhythm of the band. He’s also carrying the harmony on the backing vocals that if he were missing you would notice. Matching George on rhythm, and keeping the songs sewn together to a perfection is David “Spike” Harper! He’s called Spike for a reason. He’s sharp on the kit and ties the band together! The Larry Browning band is more than a cover band, they’re the locals that brings soul, blues, rock and the party to Southern Indiana!
