By: Evan J. Thomas On Sunday night, the Chicago area based rock band Now Its Dark proved why they're on of the regions most talked about and quickly rising acts. Now Its Dark sparked and then lit up Rookies Rochaus in West Dundee, IL with a commanding performance that blended heavy emotion, raw energy, and cinematic atmosphere. Delivering a set that was equal parts dark, dynamic, and unforgettable they are moving to the upper echelon of area bands and are ready to break out. From the haunting pulse of “Nymph” to the soaring hooks of their latest material, the band kept the crowd locked in from the first note to the final feedback. Vocalist Frost Tayla led with passion and precision, while the band’s tight musicianship and dynamic stage presence created an immersive experience that hit with both power and purpose. It was a night that reaffirmed Now Its Dark as I had said, a band on the brink of breaking wide open — a modern rock act with the sound, vision, and fire to command any stage they step on. Keep an eye and ear on Now Its Dark.
