Jake Luhrs, Lead Singer of August Burns Red

Today I spoke with Jake Luhrs, lead singer of the metalcore band August Burns Red. In our chat, we talked about how the band has been going strong for over two decades as well as how the band's sound has evolved from "Thrill Seeker" (1st album) to "Season of Surrender (most recent release). Luhrs talks about how he's further developed as a vocalist and how the band's return to Fearless Records is like coming home. August Burns Red will soon embark on a fall tour with Underoath, Atreyu, and As Cities Burn; they also have big plans for Christmas Burns Red in December.
