Arch Enemy Introduces New Vocalist, Premieres New Single, Video; Summer Tour Planned

​Arch Enemy officially introduced its new vocalist this week.
Lauren Hart (ex-Once Human) was announced Thursday as the band’s new vocalist. Heart replaces former vocalist Alyssa White-Gluz, who recently parted ways with the band in order to pursue a solo career.
Hart’s first work with the band is the band’s latest single, ‘To The Last Breath,’ which the band premiered Thursday alongside the song’s companion video. The musical arrangement featured in the new single reaches back to earlier Arch Enemy works, right down to Heart’s vocal delivery style, which are reminiscent of former vocalist turned band manager Angela Gossow.
Founding member/guitarist Michael Amott discussed the song’s musical arrangement in a prepared statement.
“Make no mistake — this song is a reckoning,” said Amott. “Musically, it’s unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band — and I believe longtime fans will recognize that immediately.”
Amott added, noting of the song’s lyrical theme, “Lyrically, it’s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control. It captures that moment when you realize you’ve been fed poison — and you choose to fight back. Once that clarity hits, there’s no retreat. It’s do or die.”
The song’s video finds the band performing its new single on a sound stage decked out with video screens that puts the band members on various settings as the group performs.
In other news, Arch Enemy has also announced a new tour schedule that is set to kick off July 19 in Berlin, Germany and to run through Aug. 11 in Manchester, England. The schedule for the “Back To The Root Of All Evil Tour” is noted below:
