Of Virtue Declare War On New Track "The Art Of Love"

3/27/2026

Michigan metalcore outfit, Of Virtue, have torn open a new would, as they've released their brand new single, "The Art Of Love", via Arising Empire today. Following the explosive reception to their previous single, "Death Of The Altar", today's brand new single arrives as Of Virtue's latest chapter in an already commanding year, building on the world they established on their 2023 record, "OMEN", which has amassed an impressive 65 million streams since its release. Fans can listen to the new single HERE.

Where "Death Of The Altar" turned addiction and self-destruction inward, "The Art Of Love" widens the lens, zeroing in on the quiet, yet deafening, devastation of a connection that consumes more than it gives. Co-written alongside Lee Albrecht (Bilmuri, The Devil Wears Prada, etc) and Evan McKeever (Starset, Koe Wetzel, etc), "The Art Of Love" and "Death Of The Altar" continue the band's ongoing focus on the emotional and relational toll that addiction, mental health, and the stigma surrounding both leave in their wake.

Of Virtue have never shied away from the harder truths, and "The Art Of Love" exposes the way that love can become its own kind of war of attrition, one fought in silences, sacrifices, and the slow erosion of your core.

On reckoning with everything that love can cost you, vocalist and guitarist Damon Tate shares:

"Sometimes you have songs that embody more of the existential problems we have in the world and other times, you just need that blunt force reminder that we all go through a lot of the same things. Toxicity in relationships will exist until the end of time - scorned lovers that are navigating their own character growth while refusing to let go or move on from abusive situations.

Love is one of the most powerful and complex emotions we can experience in our lives. The right person makes you levitate above the clouds and can also make you feel like you're living in a nightmare every day. This song brings our self worth, value and how we accept/show that love to ourselves and others into question."

Harnessing the potent fusion of powerful melodies and emotionally charged lyrics, Of Virtue maintain a steadfast commitment to authenticity, consistently redefining the genre while staying true to their artistic essence. Beloved across 35 countries and having performed at multiple Danny Wimmer festivals, Upheaval, Full Force, Summer Breeze, and Pulp Summer Slam amongst many others, it's no surprise that they've shared stages with bands such as Slipknot, Bad Omens, Nothing More, and Three Days Grace. Beyond their musical prowess, the metal powerhouse also serve as passionate mental health advocates on and off stage. Often seen using their platform to raise awareness and openly discuss these vital issues, Of Virtue have become a source of hope and inspiration for countless fans facing similar challenges.

Carrying forward the spirit of their 2023 record, "Omen", Of Virtue continue to champion vulnerability, community, and the belief that no one is defined solely by their worst decisions. With "Death Of The Altar" and "The Art Of Love" standing as the next chapter, the band further their evolution with a fearless, unflinching look at what it means to reclaim your life, even when it means burning down everything that once felt familiar.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Of Virtue news coming very soon.

ABOUT OF VIRTUE

In the face of omnipresent change, OF VIRTUE has never wavered, forging a legacy that stands as a testament to the power of reinvention and a refusal to surrender. Since the band’s inception, their music – a punishing-yet-melodic mix of hard rock, metal, and alternative – has mirrored that ambition: unexpected and ever-shifting, always rooted in raw emotion.

That restless spirit is fully realized on “DEATH OF THE ALTAR,” the band’s new single and first release since 2023’s Omen. Built on jackhammer riffs, skittering industrial electronics, and ethereal production, the track surges from claustrophobic tension into a widescreen, soaring chorus showcasing contrasting vocal styles of Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate – equal parts soulful and caustic. The shift lands like the split second before impact, amplifying the song’s central theme: confronting the moment when devotion turns into self-destruction.

The track arrives as the first glimpse of the band’s forthcoming fourth album and follows a period of rapid ascent: 2023’s Omen propelled the Michigan-based act to more than 65M streams, 4M YouTube views, and tours and festival appearances alongside Slipknot, Gojira, Bad Omens, The Used, and Three Days Grace, yet their momentum has always been fueled by more than accolades. Drawing inspiration from their diverse ethnic backgrounds (Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Black, and Irish heritage), Of Virtue finds strength from these distinct perspectives, shaping their chemistry, songwriting and shared sense of purpose.

The title implies the human response to withdraw and keep things to yourself instead of being confrontational; Something I believe we all struggle with as humans. Emotion Factory Reset will release on a variety of vinyl pressings noted below. Additionally it will release in Europe on a special vinyl pressing that will include bonus 7″ vinyl ‘One Chain (Don’t Make No Prison)’ as an extra, as well as a download card. 12 Stones Release New Single "World So Cold" feat. Lyric Noel via Judge & Jury Records

3/25/2026

Hard rock band 12 Stones have officially released their latest single “World So Cold,” featuring Lyric Noel, via Judge & Jury Records in partnership with SV Records. The track, produced by Howard Benson (Daughtry, My Chemical Romance, Skillet, Flyleaf), marks the band’s second release with the label.

Accompanying the release is an official music video, directed by Michael Levine of Levine Pictures, that vividly brings the song’s message to life. The visual narrative explores two contrasting sides of the main character. One side is consumed by anger and the other is weighed down by sadness and emotion.

Featuring Lyric Noel, “World So Cold” is a reignited version of the popular 12 Stones classic. Feeling that we had all lost our sense of humanity, Paul McCoy originally wrote the song in 2006 about the inconceivable tragedies of this world and, as he reflects now, the need for a song like this never truly went away. Almost 20 years later, this song is more relevant than ever.

The song is filled with candid lyrics, such as “What kind of world do we live in? // where love is divided by hate?” Heart-wrenching verses build up to explosive choruses, leaving behind a message that is certain to be remembered.

“'World So Cold' is a song I wrote about my view of the world. I wrote this song almost 20 years ago about how messed up the world seemed to me. I can honestly say that I don’t feel like it’s gotten any better over the last 20 years. I remember sitting in the lounge of the music studio messing around with an acoustic guitar while the TV was on in the background. I saw a news story about another person on a shooting rampage, and in that moment, I just started singing the melody that became 'World So Cold'. I realized that all humans can become a byproduct of their environments.  The song is about believing in hope in hopeless times,” says McCoy.

Lyric Noel adds, “I was incredibly honored that out of all the singers out there, they chose me to be part of the re-release of ‘World So Cold.’ It’s such a powerful song that already carries so much emotion and history, so getting the chance to lend my voice to it meant a lot to me. Filming the music video was an amazing experience, and the visuals really bring the story and atmosphere of the song to life in a beautiful way. Being part of this new chapter of ‘World So Cold’ alongside 12 Stones is something I’m truly grateful for.”

Founded by multi-platinum producer Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson (drummer and songwriter of Three Days Grace), Judge & Jury brings decades of success in the rock world, offering extensive promotional, production, and songwriting resources.

In addition, the band has announced tour dates this spring! Dates are listed below.

STITCHED UP HEART Release New Single "Cannibal" feat. Heidi Shepherd via Judge & Jury Records

3/24/2026

Los Angeles rock band Stitched Up Heart have unleashed their new single “Cannibal,” featuring Heidi Shepherd of Butcher Babies, out now via Judge & Jury Records. The track is a powerful collaboration between two incredible women in modern heavy music. Alecia 'Mixi' Demner and Heidi Shepherd deliver a fierce vocal performance that celebrates strength, attitude, and the unapologetic presence of women in the rock and metal scene. The single arrives alongside a brand new music video, capturing the electrifying chemistry between Mixi and Heidi as the two powerhouse vocalists.

“‘CANNIBAL’ is a song for the man-eaters; to all of the baddies stealing hearts and eating them for breakfast,” says Mixi.

She continues, “I was at Butcher Babies very first show. Crammed on the stairs at a dive bar on the sunset strip. Heidi hurled this wrecked Barbie into the crowd. Hair hacked off, totally mangled. I caught it. Looking back at that moment it felt like she’d passed me a torch. 'Hey girl, let’s conquer this industry together.' Years later, we’re still at it cheering each other on from the sidelines. Collaborating on this song together is such a fulfilling moment.”

Shepherd adds, "I've been a big fan of Mixi and Stitched Up Heart for nearly 2 decades. We've clawed our way through this industry together, and had each other's back when no one else did. After all of these years, it's so fitting that 'Cannibal' is the song that we finally get to SCREAM together! This song is so fun, and has quickly become one of my favorite collabs that I've been a part of. You can tell by the video that we had an absolute blast making it. I can't wait to see what else SUH has in store of us fans in the future!"

In 2025, the band inked a deal with Judge and Jury Records and their fourth full-length album Medusa will be available on June 12. The band is currently on tour with Sebastian Bach and will be out supporting Infected Rain this summer.

Beyond the stage, Mixi continues to use her platform to advocate for more women in rock and metal while actively volunteering with multiple animal rescue organizations throughout Southern California.

Rock Super Group Takes Listeners Back To The Civil War In New Single

By: Philip Sayblack

Zombie Shaker Box recently unveiled its latest single
The band premiered the single, Pickett’s Charge,’ early last month. According to a news release announcing the song’s debut, the band — guitarist Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies, Whitesnake, Dio), drummer Les Warner (The Cult), bassist Dan McNay (Great White) and vocalist Kirk Hulshoff — takes listeners back to the Civil War in its new single. More specifically speaking, the song centers on the infamous Battle of Gettysburg, which was one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War.
The Battle of Gettysburg, was one of the bloodiest of the Civil War, with a total of more than 50,000 men dying collectively on both sides. It was also a turning point in the war as a result of Union forces, led by Gen. George Meade, pushing back Confederate forces, led by Robert E. Lee.
The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is an infectious composition that throws back to the hard rock (and even grunge) sounds of the early 1990s. The grunge element comes into play through the vocal harmony layering. It is so reminiscent of the vocal styling of Alice in Chains. The instrumentation meanwhile presents a driving, sharp-edged sound that is sure to engage and entertain audiences.

By: Philip Sayblack

Black Veil Brides will release its latest album, Vindicate, this spring.
The band made the announcement Thursday through a news release. According to the document, the album is scheduled for release May 8 via Spinefarm records. Pre-orders are open.
In anticipation of the album’s release, the band premiered the record’s latest single — its title track — and the song’s companion video Thursday.’Vindicate’ is the fourth single from the band’s forthcoming album behind “Bleeders,” “Hallelujah,” and “Certainty.”
Front man Andy Biersack discussed the song as it pertains to the album’s bigger picture in a prepared statement.
“This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication,” said Biersack. “These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. There’s a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above what’s tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us.”
Biersack continued, “Each song explores a different side of that struggle. Sometimes it’s about getting even with someone else, sometimes it’s about confronting ourselves and our past, our pain, or the things that were done to us. At its core, though, this album is about resilience.
He concluded, “It’s for anyone who’s ever had their dreams doubted or their fire challenged by people who couldn’t see their vision. We’re all born with that spark. The world will try to take that away at times, but this record is about holding onto it, fighting back, and turning those struggles into something powerful.”

RAINY PARK Release Debut Single“Dumb”

3/16/2026

"Dumb" tells the story of falling for someone you knew you shouldn’t trust from the start. Warning signs appear early, but hope and attraction blur your judgment. What begins as excitement slowly turns into attachment, and eventually into pain. - RAINY PARK

Emerging rock band RAINY PARK are making a statement with the release of their brand new single “Dumb,” a track that blends gritty honesty with powerful modern rock energy. The song delivers a relatable and unapologetic look at the moments in life when emotions, mistakes, and self-reflection collide.

With “Dumb,” RAINY PARK taps into the frustration and vulnerability that come from recognizing the choices we sometimes make when emotions take over. The track captures that universal feeling of looking back on a moment and realizing you might have known better, but did it anyway.

Driven by punchy guitar riffs, a tight rhythm section, and emotionally charged vocals, “Dumb” balances attitude with authenticity. The song builds from reflective verses into a powerful chorus that hits with both energy and honesty, showcasing the band’s ability to combine raw storytelling with emo dynamics.

Hard rock powerhouse WORLDWIDE PANIC is set to make a thunderous statement with the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, The Greatest Villain The World Has Ever Seen, arriving TODAY. The band is also releasing the album’s commanding title track, giving fans an early taste of what promises to be their most ambitious and sonically aggressive project to date.

Fueled by crushing riffs, cinematic storytelling, and unapologetic intensity, The Greatest Villain The World Has Ever Seen showcases WORLDWIDE PANIC pushing their creative and musical boundaries further than ever before. The album dives deep into themes of power, corruption, internal battles, and the complex nature of what truly defines a villain in today’s world.

"This album marks an exciting time in WORLDWIDE PANIC History. This is a very eclectic meaningful record. Filled with related themes and undeniable hooks this record takes the band to new heights." - Lane Steele

Two singles from this album "Break Me Down" and "Below It All" have already charted on the SMR Top 40.  The title track stands as a bold centerpiece for the album, delivering relentless energy, thunderous percussion, and emotionally charged vocals that capture the band’s signature blend of melody and aggression. The song sets the tone for a record that balances raw hard rock grit with modern production and layered storytelling.

Throughout the album, listeners can expect a dynamic range of soundscapes — from anthemic stadium-ready choruses to darker, heavier moments that showcase the band’s evolution and versatility. Mixed and mastered by Bob Marlette (Salvia, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie) and Zuess (Hatebreed, White Chapel, Demon Hunter), the record reflects WORLDWIDE PANIC'S commitment to growth while staying true to the hard rock roots that built their rapidly expanding fanbase.

With The Greatest Villain The World Has Ever Seen, WORLDWIDE PANIC aims to deliver not just an album, but an experience — one that invites listeners into a world where heroes and villains blur, and the soundtrack is loud, unapologetic, and unforgettable.
