"THE MANTICORE TAPES’
A ‘LOST’ ALBUM FROM 1976 OUT NOW

ELEVEN PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED RECORDINGS
FROM THE FIRST EVER STUDIO SESSION
OF THE ‘THREE AMIGOS’ LINE-UP OF LEMMY,
FAST EDDIE CLARKE, AND PHIL TAYLOR.

YOU CAN NOW ORDER HERE -https://motorhead.lnk.to/TheManticoreTapesPR
In 1976 the seminal line-up of Motörhead was solidified a year after the band’s initial inception.
Known as the ‘Three Amigos’ era of Motörhead, Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar)
and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor (drums) joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to
the top of the hard rock elite.

In August 1976 the band set up at Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s legendary Manticore Studio in
Fulham to rehearse and showcase the new lineup. While they were there they recorded
together for the very first time and now, forty nine years later, this long lost tape has surfaced,
been dusted off and restored in all its raw glory, to celebrate the seminal hard rock bands 50th
anniversary.

It’s quite surreal, even unbelievable that a whole half century has elapsed since that vital time
in 1976. Just as remarkable, especially for those who remember Lemmy hammering the fruit
machines of London’s pubs or as the era’s most extraordinarily approachable rock star, has
been this always humble man’s ascension to Mount Rushmore-like immortality as rock ‘n’ roll’s
ultimate icon, this despite his having sadly passed away nearly ten years ago. Lemmy himself
certainly would have cackled.

The dogged struggles Motörhead faced in the first four of their 50 years are well documented
and the almost accidental manifestation of this album – and the circumstances under which it
was recorded – present a previously barely known new element in the band’s history from that
time when it’s very future looked bleak had events not taken a different course.

Part of that early story involved a little-mentioned man called Frank Kennington, who roadied
for The Who before moving into management and briefly taking on the struggling Motörhead.
One of Kennington’s moves was booking the trio into the converted ABC cinema on Fulham
Palace Road that served as prog supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s HQ – which was
known as Manticore. Named after the mythical beast in Persian folklore that adorned their
album sleeves, Manticore was one-stop shopping for bands, with the projection room housing
offices while the seatless main auditorium provided a useful soundstage for bands to rehearse
in. Motörhead were ensconced at Manticore recording their set on Ronnie Lane’s mobile
studio, which was operated by Ronnie’s trusted mate Ron Faucus.

Faucus did a fine job capturing Motörhead’s blossoming raw power and high velocity
onslaughts on songs that would remain in their live set until 1979. These aging tapes were
brought to life with restoration duties dutifully handled by longtime Motörhead collaborator
Cameron Webb at Maple Studios in California and mastered by Andrew Alekel at Bolskine
House in Los Angeles. The result is a truly historical moment in the evolution of hard rock’s
finest heavy icons, restoring and bringing to the public eye for the first time ever a vital part of
Motörhead’s evolution and history.

The Manticore Tapes are available as a deluxe expanded bookpack containing
a double LP and 7” single, a single LP, CD and digital.

Hollywood Undead
Drop Haunting New Single
“SAVIOR”
Listen HERE | Watch HERE

New track follows massive success of previous single “Hollywood Forever” + Recent North American Hollywood & N9ne co-headline tour with Tech N9ne
Picture
Thursday, June 26th, 2025 — Los Angeles, CA — Riding the massive wave of their hit single “Hollywood Forever,” Hollywood Undead return with their most emotionally raw offering yet. Titled “SAVIOR”, the track is out now via Sumerian Records and showcases a darker, more vulnerable side of the band—one that trades swagger for soul-searching and resilience. Listen to “SAVIOR” HERE and watch the accompanying music video HERE or by clicking the image below.

Built on a gargantuan guitar riff, a haunting vocal hook, and lyrics soaked in regret and revelation, “SAVIOR” explores the psychological wreckage of trauma, fame, and fractured identity. “You say that I’m your savior, but there’s no saving me,” the chorus confesses. True to form, Hollywood Undead deliver a track that is brutally honest, anthemic, and still undeniably catchy.

Speaking on the new release,
Hollywood Undead share
“We’re all excited to follow up “Hollywood Forever” with our newest track “SAVIOR.” This song is special to us so we can’t wait for the Undead Army and beyond to hear it.”

“SAVIOR” lands in the midst of what is shaping up to be an explosive year for Hollywood Undead. Their 2024 single “Hollywood Forever” - their first with new label home, Sumerian Records - not only reintroduced their iconic masks to a new generation, to date it has racked up over 20.3 million cross-platform streams, peaked at #18 at Active Rock radio, held strong in the Top 20, and inspired a remix hailed as a “genre-killer” collaboration between some of LA’s fiercest underground voices.

Most recently, the band wrapped the spring 2025 leg of the Hollywood & N9ne co-headline tour with Tech N9ne, performing to thousands across the U.S. and Canada, and played incendiary mainstage slots at Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville, Louder Than Life, and are set to play Aftershock festival this fall. They will be joining Falling In Reverse on their ‘God Is A Weapon’ tour this August/September. Full routing below. Tickets available HERE.

On collaborating with Draiman and Johnny K, Formica notes, “Writing this with David Draiman was an amazing experience. It was also special to be able to co-produce with Johnny K, who was instrumental in helping to launch Disturbed and Plush, so there was a familiar energy throughout the process.”

Tallah Put Experimental Spin On Their Nu-Core Roots With New Single“augmented”

Watch HERE | Listen HERE
Third Single From Their Upcoming Album
Primeval: Obsession // Detachment
Set For Release on September 5th via Earache Records
Pre-Order Bundles Available Now HERE

Following the chaos of their last two singles, Tallah return today with “augmented”—a brutal, groove-heavy offering that throws back to their nu-core roots while flexing the wild experimentation that defines their upcoming album Primeval: Obsession // Detachment, out September 5 via Earache Records. Watch the official music video now HERE. Listen to the track on DSPs HERE.

Bassist Max Portnoy, who made the creative leap from drums to bass for this album, shares:
“Probably the most ‘nu-core’ track on the record. It feels very reminiscent of where we came from but still steps into the sonic world of Primeval, with acoustic guitars and live strings at points. The experimentation is sprinkled on every song this album. I also wrote ‘Augmented’ at the peak of my slap bass interest, and it made for the most intricate bass track in our discography. So many weird techniques crammed into this one. It’s a bitch to play.”

Commenting on the official music video, Portnoy continues "In the studio, we wanted to use Josh's VHS camera to film some cool content, and we decided on 'augmented', as it was the first song we jammed together as a unit for this session. It was the song that really got us situated and in the right headspace for this record, so it made sense to film the studio video of this track."

Picture
The new track is Tallah at their most rhythmically unhinged—toggling between jagged grooves, acoustic breaks, and dense basswork that cements Max’s evolution as one of heavy music’s most creative rhythmic masterminds. Paired with Justin Bonitz’s raw, one-take vocal performance and a recording process that scrapped all editing and click tracks, “augmented” captures the primal, chaotic energy that’s earned the band over 29.7 million Spotify streams and 66 million YouTube views to date.

Like its predecessors “What we know” and “A primeval detachment,” “augmented” also ties directly into the album’s layered sci-fi narrative. The concept follows two characters, Ana and Sheelah, on a morally destructive journey across an alien world. Fans can dive deeper into the lore through The Primeval Game, a playable story-world that’s updated monthly with new clues, song teasers, and narrative expansions. Explore the game, built in collaboration with Enzo Interactive at primevalgame.com

Primeval: Obsession // Detachment arrives September 5 via Earache Records. Tracked completely live with no edits or safety nets, it’s Tallah’s most dangerous and defining work to date.

ABOUT TALLAH

Emerging from Pennsylvania in 2018, Tallah fuse the percussive force of second-generation drummer-turned-bassist Max Portnoy with the unpredictable dexterity of vocalist and viral phenom Justin Bonitz and the phenomenal guitarist duo of Derrick Schneider and Alex Snowden to form a sound that’s part brutalist nu-metal, part theatrical meltdown, and entirely their own. What began as a raw homage to the early-2000s metal they were raised on—Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park—has since evolved into something far stranger and far more singular.

After making waves with their 2020 debut 'Matriphagy', a twisted concept album soaked in trauma and noise, the band were hailed by Knotfest as delivering “one of the best metal releases of the year” and by Metal Hammer as “leading the charge on the new wave of nu-metal.” The follow-up, 'The Generation Of Danger' (2022), saw them push their hybrid sound further into chaos—earning millions of streams, high-profile festival slots, and nominations at both the Heavy Music Awards and AIM Independent Music Awards.

But it’s on album three, 'Primeval: Obsession // Detachment' (out September 5, 2025 via Earache Records), that Tallah truly shatter what’s left of the mould. Decamping to Michigan to record the entire project live with longtime producer Josh Schroeder, the band abandoned edits, clicks, backing tracks, and rules. What remains is pure instinct—feral, volatile, and unrelentingly human.

Conceptually, the record unfolds across a sci-fi narrative that follows Ana, a nurse, and Sheelah, an assassin—two strangers manipulated by a shadowy force and driven to the edges of their morality. The mirrored structure, warped sonic callbacks, easter eggs and ambiguous lyrical layering reflect a story full of tests, dualities, and spiraling identity shifts.

To date, Tallah have clocked up 29.7 million Spotify streams and 6 million YouTube views.

About Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills spread cavalier carnage with a knowing smile, as evidenced by the densely catchy songs on their pair of breakthrough albums, The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. The INKverse boasts a series of high-concept, cinematic videos; the Psychos Only club; a mock “true crime” book; the Inked in Blood graphic novels; monthly “Nightmare on the 9th” merch drops; and the annual INK-curated Silver Scream Convention weekends. In 2024, Silver Scream Con moved into the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, not far from the North Shore birthplace of Ice Nine Kills. Led by Spencer Charnas, the internationally acclaimed band, who mix extreme metal with melody, toured with Slipknot in 2022 and was handpicked by Metallica for the M72 World Tour in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The horror community Spencer grew up loving has embraced his band in return. INK’s “A Work of Art” plays in 2024’s Terrifier 3, now the highest-grossing unrated film ever.  The single debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and has remained on the chart for over 18 weeks and counting, while accumulating over 35 million streams to date. Spencer recently launched the Pretty Evil personal care line and revealed he’s co-written the forthcoming feature film The Slashin’ of the Christ, produced by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead).

Hailed by Loudwire as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now,” Ice Nine Kills captivates with inventive band-fan connections, immersive, theatrical live shows, and a growing legion of "pyschos" the world over. With over 2.03 million monthly Spotify listeners, 1.4 billion career streams, and 400 million YouTube views, the band has cemented itself as a dominant and visionary force in modern metal, fearlessly carving out a thrilling, horror-inspired legacy.
