By: Philip Sayblack As I Lay Dying is back in the news. The band, still fronted by Tim Lambesis and the new lineup up Chris Clancy (bass), Bill Hudson and Don Vedda (guitar), and Tim Yeung (drums), debuted its new single, ‘Echoes’ and its video Wednesday. The song’s musical arrangement is a heavy, melodic composition that is blends elements of metalcore and death metal for a unique presentation. The combination exhibits influence of Killswitch Engage just as much as the likes of Black Dahlia Murder, again making for quite the unique composition. According to information provided in the news release announcing the debut of the new single and video, the song’s lyrical theme “explores the internal battles we fight, the shadows we leave behind, and the strength found in forging a new identity.” The song’s video features the band performing its new single in what looks like a rather tight sound stage setting as the song plays over the visualization. In other news, As I Lay Dying has announced a brief European tour, which is scheduled to launch Oct. 30 in Moscow, Russia and to run through Nov. 14 in Heerlen, the Netherlands. The tour’s schedule is noted below. Tickets are available here. TOUR DATES – FALL 2025:
