Foo Fighters will host a special benefit concert next month. The band made the announcement Tuesday through a news release. According to the document, the concert is scheduled to take place Jan. 14 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. Proceeds will go to benefit two charities chosen by Dave and Jordyn Grohl: Hope The Mission and Los Angeles Mission. A ticket pre-sale will take place Sunday in-person only at the Kia Forum. Audiences who participate are asked to bring items from the following list for those served by Hope The Mission and the Los Angeles Mission:
“Dave, Jordyn, and Foo Fighters are a striking example of what’s possible when we decide to show up and give back. This concert will be more than just a celebration, it’s a statement that it will take all of us working together to end homelessness in our city so that no one is left suffering on our streets,” said Vansleve. “We’re incredibly grateful to partner with the band. Foo Fighters and their fans have a reputation of always stepping up to help when people need it, and this concert will be no different.” Dennis Oleesky, Los Angeles Mission shared similar sentiment in his own statement. “The impact of this event goes far beyond one night of incredible music, said Oleesky. “Every ticket purchased and every donation will directly help feed and house our unhoused neighbors. We’re honored Foo Fighters are joining to bring real help and real hope to people across Los Angeles.” In addition to being a benefit for the charities, the event will also fall on Grohl’s birthday. He encouraged audiences to help celebrate the occasion by showing up and helping the cause. “What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of friends for a good cause,” said Grohl. “This ain’t just a big ass rock show, it’s a big ass party with a heart. Turn up the volume, turn up the hope, but most of all….TURN UP. The best gift is TO GIVE. Can’t friggin wait x” Dave More information on the forthcoming concert is available along with all of the latest Foo Fighters news at: Website: https://foofighters.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/foofighters Twitter: https://twitter.com/foofighters By: Philip Sayblack

For pre-orders go to this location.
‘Disconnected’ speaks of something that Michael Monroe feels passionately about: that live music is a rare and vital space for people to find each other in the moment. “Technology was supposed to bring people closer together, when, in fact, people are more disconnected than ever. They're looking at their phones and their computers and downloading stuff” comments Michael Monroe. “And, you know, the Internet can't take away the experience of being at a live show. You're on stage, and you communicate with the audience who are there, in that moment. That's where the magic really happens, and absolutely no program or device or computer can reproduce that!” Watch/Listen to ‘Disconnected’ here – video by Leigh Brooks. The new album Outerstellar, is an experience as much as a collection of great songs, a sweet smelling, leathery, glitter-shimmered, sweat-soaked raunch and punch wrapped in one of the great voices in rock ‘n’ roll. The harmonies and vibes roll effortlessly in silk scarves, lounging in leather pants with liquor and a smile on a beat-up sofa in those small AM hours. And the sheer attitude, which screams carefree (not careless!) confidence (not arrogance!), a cocksure sense of self-bathed in the sheer joy of playing real rock ‘n’ roll the right way. The recently released first video and single, ‘Rockin’ Horse’, is a defiant blast against critics and judges and comes with one of the craziest Michael Monroe videos you’ve ever seen. “I am who I am and I'm not going to edit myself for your benefit,” Michael says unequivocally for anyone who might doubt that fact. Watch/Listen to ‘Rockin’ Horse’ here – video by Leigh Brooks. One of today’s most popular hard rock bands, Halestorm, has released a video of their rendition of the classic, “Shooting Star”- written by 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Paul Rodgers - from the first ever Bad Company tribute album, Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute to Bad Company, available now on Primary Wave Music HERE
Lzzy Hale steps into the ring with her powerhouse vocals as Paul Rodgers proudly joins in, singing background vocals and playing both electric and acoustic guitar. “Rock n’ Roll with a soul wouldn’t exist without Paul Rodgers,” says Lzzy. “We grew up on the songs and sounds he gifted to the world, and we are honored to be on this record paying tribute to one of the greatest singers of all time.” Watch “Shooting Star” video HERE CAN’T GET ENOUGH: A TRIBUTE TO BAD COMPANY features legendary and contemporary artists from Rock, Country, and Americana – genres deeply influenced by Bad Company – including HARDY, The Pretty Reckless, Joe Elliott and Phil Collen from Def Leppard, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Charley Crockett, Halestorm and more, offering fresh takes on the band’s iconic songs. Bad Company was founded by Mick Ralphs and Paul Rodgers in 1973. Album is available on limited-edition silver colored vinyl, CD and all digital formats and special merch bundles HERE By: Philip Sayblack

ABOUT THE SONG: The song "Curses" by Illusions of Grandeur explores themes of consequence, judgment, and the power of words, continuing the band's narrative-driven style rooted in Greek mythology The song deals directly with the concept of curses and their inescapable consequences. The lyrics begin, "Listen carefully, Lessons silence teach, The more you learn, The less you speak, Wisdom wanes, What lies beneath, Curses, Spoken, Webs your Words wea...". This suggests that actions and even words have lasting, often negative, impacts that can ensnare a person. Hard rocking songsmiths TYKETTO will release their 6th studio album, Closer To The Sun, through Silver Lining Music on March 20th 2026, and with it, unleash some of their best, supremely crafted rock anthems celebratingthe return of this criminally underrated quintet originally founded in New York.
The first video and single taken from Closer To The Sun, ‘Higher Than High' is a burst of swing and swagger that perfectly captures Tyketto’s deep appreciation for the emancipation that music can bring. That spirit rings out unmistakably as vocalist and founding member Danny Vaughn roars: “In the space you can learn to heal/There is music that helps you feel/Higher than high”. “Higher Than High is, in my estimation, classic Tyketto, where difficulties in life are seen and named but hope and, more importantly, music, is the thing that gets us through,” comments Danny Vaughn. “It's the first single from our new album which we think is going to be a real favorite with the fans. The song and the album say ‘play me loudly and take me for a drive.’” Watch/Listen to ‘Higher Than High’ at this location – directed and edited by Scott Wardell; filmed by Paul Hollingsworth at KK’s Steel Mill. Throughout Closer To The Sun, Tyketto speak to the listener about true life loves, losses and pleasures. From the title track’s triumphant, anthemic appreciation of love’s power, to the punchy rawness built to make fists rise and hearts race of “Hit Me Where It Hurts”, to the power balladry of “The Picture”, Tyketto continue to confidently stride the same musical terrain as the likes of Whitesnake and Aerosmith, with the added bonus of being fresh to the ears of many. Joined by Harry Scott Elliott on guitar, Ged Rylands on keyboards, Chris Childs (Thunder) on bass and Johnny Dee (Doro) on drums, Vaughn leads a lineup that brings exceptional performances and undeniable fire to every track, reaffirming Tyketto as one of rock’s most respected and enduring names. Closer To The Sun was recorded across multiple studios in the UK and Europe, including Flip Flop Studios and the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales. In support of the album’s release, Tyketto have already announced a string of dates for 2026, kicking off at Planet Rock’s Winter’s End festival in Porthcawl, Wales—and with a full UK Tour set for the spring and European shows to be revealed soon, fans should keep their eyes peeled for what’s coming next.
