Yet another Smashing Pumpkins album is getting renewed attention. The band announced Wednesday via a news release, it will tentatively re-issue its debut 1991 album, Gish, May 29. Pre-orders are open. According to information provided in a news release announcing the pending re-issue, it is to mark the 35th anniversary of the record’s release. Gish is just the latest of the band’s albums to receive a new vinyl re-issue. The band’s 1995 album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was re-issued again in late 2025 separately on a 4CD set and on a larger vinyl box set. Additionally, Machina (2000) and Machina II (2000), were also re-issued in 2025. As with those records, Gish will also be re-issued through Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan’s Madame Zuzu’s Tea Shop. It will release on a variety of vinyl pressings.
