Exodus Debuts New Single’s Video

Exodus premiered the video for its latest single this week.
The band unveiled the video for the title track from its forthcoming album Wednesday. the video features the giant beast on the cover of the new album as it destroys a city. Meanwhile the band performs its new single as the horror movie-esque tale plays out.
The band discussed the song’s musical arrangement in a prepared statement.
“‘Goliath’ may quite possibly be the heaviest thing we have ever done, and certainly the slowest song in our catalog, as close to doom metal as Exodus we get!,” the statement reads. “Just pure evil, as sinister as it gets, featuring our friend Katie Jacoby, who laid down 18 tracks of strings in the middle harmony section, making the song go from just pure horror to a thing of beauty.”
The song’s lyrical theme was not addressed in the statement or in any other statement.
‘Goliath’ is the second single from the band’s forthcoming album, which is scheduled for release March 20. The band premiered the record’s lead single, ‘3111’ last month and unveiled the song’s uncensored video early this month.
In other news, Exodus launched a global tour in support of Goliath Feb. 15 in Victoria, BC alongside Megadeth. That tour’s next stop is scheduled for Tuesday in Saskatoon, SK. The global tour includes runs across North America, Canada, and Europe and the United Kingdom.
