Machine Head Album Re-Issue Details Announced

Machine Head’s 2011 album, Unto The Locust is getting new life.
The announcement was made Wednesday through a news release. According to the document, the record is scheduled to be re-issued Sept. 25. The release is to mark the 15th anniversary of the album’s original release.
Machine Head’s seventh album, Unto The Locust, was originally released Sept. 27 through its former label home, Roadrunner Records. It would also go on to be the band’s final record for the label before joining Nuclear Blast Records in October 2013. The record would also go on to the band’s highest charting record to date, reaching No. 22 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Additionally, it reached #5 in Germany’s Gfk Entertainment Charts, its highest ranking worldwide.
The forthcoming re-issue will feature no new extras from the album’s original release. Its vinyl pressing will be exclusive to the United States and will be limited to 1,500 copies. Pre-orders are open.
In other news, Machine Head is scheduled to launch the next leg of its current tour alongside Killswitch Engage Aug. 5 in Ottawa, ON. The upcoming North American tour is scheduled to run through Sept. 29 in Tacoma, WA and will largely take the bands through the Midwest and Northwest, with stops planned in cities, such as Denver, CO; Spokane, WA and Bonner, MT.
