According to the news release announcing the signing, the band’s current lineup consists of Loomis on guitar along with Jack Cattoi also on guitar, Semir Ozerkan on bass, and new vocalist Berzan Onen. Onen takes the place of late Nevermore vocalist Warrel Dane, who died in December 2017 from a heart attack. Van Williams returns to continue handling drumming duties. Williams has been the band’s drummer since 1994 after replacing original drummer, Mark Arrington. As a way to build excitement for its return, Nevermore premiered a documentary in January via YouTube that presents rehearsals of various songs. Additionally, Loomis and Williams discuss the decision to resurrect Nevermore. Audiences can view the documentary here.
