Primal Fear Premieres New Single, One,’ Companion Video

Primal Fear kicked off the weekend with the premiere of a new single and video.
The band debuted its new single, ‘One‘ and the song’s companion video Friday. the song was recorded for the band’s 2025 album Domination but did not make the album’s final cut. The four-and-a-half-minute composition features an arrangement that boasts elements of fellow power metal acts, Saxon, Judas Priest, and even Accept for its unique whole.
According to information provided in the news release announcing the new single and video’s premiere, the song’s lyrical theme presents the welcome, familiar theme of unity, stating, “The straight-forward anthem calls upon mankind to stand together instead of feuding each other.”
The song’s companion video seems to tell the story of a group of ominous, hooded figures gathering for what seems like a dark event while the band’s “mascot,” the “Metal Eagle” battles an evil dragon in the skies above, eventually defeating the dragon and driving it away in the end. The band’s “new” song plays over the visualization in the meantime.
In other news, Primal Fear’s global tour in support of Domination continues this spring alongside Ronnie Romero and others. It will take the band across Europe and the United Kingdom through Oct. 11 in Valencia, Spain.
