Prong Premieres New Single, ‘Fear The Sun’

By: Philip Sayblack

Prong is giving audiences a new preview of its forthcoming self-titled album.
The preview came Tuesday in the form of the new single, ‘Fear The Sun.’ Musically speaking the song’s arrangement is easily compared to works from the band’s 1996 album, Rude Awakening. At the same time listeners could also make some comparison to works from the band’s even more well-known album, Cleansing.
Front man/founder Tommy Victor said of the song’s lyrical theme, “Lyrically, ‘Fear The Sun’ reflects upon living with no seasonal changes, metaphorically.”
‘Fear The Sun’ is just the latest single from Prong’s forthcoming album, which is scheduled for release Nov. 6 through Napalm Records. The album has also produced the single, ‘The Banner.’
